First (SECOND) Saturday Wine Tasting

Join us from Noon until 2:00pm for our
First Wine Tasting of 2023, on the
SECOND Saturday of January, the 14th.   

Brad and Jason will be focusing on flights of
wine fit for Winter dining and fireside sipping.  

These flights will be accompanied by small bites from Executive Chef Ellie McMillen and the
Locke Store Kitchen.

Ithaca
Ithaca uses the freshest ingredients to make a hummus like you've never had before. Chickpeas, tahini, sunflower oil, and cold pressed lemon juice are blended together to create zesty and rich spreads that are lower in fat than traditional olive oil-based hummus, and are the flavor bomb your next spread extravaganza needs! We can't get enough of the bright and zippy Lemon Dill, and the flavorful Everything But The Bagel will transform your sandwiches. But it doesn't end with chickpeas; Ithaca has just released a new line of fire-roasted salsas! Smoky and bringing a mild yet addictive heat, we love these salsas paired with Snack Republic's falafel chips!

Divina
This is our jam! Divina has been bringing quality Mediterranean condiments, spreads, and preserves to the table since 1996, and has grown to be one of the top importers of specialty products from all over this region. Feeling classic? Divina's original fig jam is one of our absolute favorites with rich notes of caramel, honey, and molasses. If you're feeling a bit saucier, their chili fig jam starts with the same deliciously decadent sweet base but adds a spicy note that contrasts perfectly with sweet fig flavor. Both of these jams are equally suited to spooning over soft brie, spicing up a grilled cheese (our favorite blend for melting is gruyere/swiss and a sharp English cheddar!), or adding to a bowl of oatmeal with your favorite toppings!

Sigdal Bakeri
Called “knekkebrød” in Norway, crispbread is a flat, crispy cracker that is a staple in the Norwegian diet. The crunchy flatbread is packed with seeds, rye flour and oats, and most traditionally eaten at breakfast and lunch with a variety of spreads. Gluten free and vegan, these crackers are a far cry from the dry, flavorless (dare we say, reminiscent of cardboard?) gluten free crackers you may be familiar with. Amazing when paired with all sorts of dips, we also love 'em crumbled over soups, salads, roasted veggie bowls, or used as the base for a smoked fish and cream cheese stack - don't forget the pickled red onions, dill, and sliced cornichons!
