La Cultivada

La Cultivada sets itself apart from other oils through their use of traditional cultivation techniques that have been passed down through generations. Located in the Andalusian countryside, this family-run, woman-owned company is dedicated to time-honored cultivation practices combined with innovative technological processes, including immediate milling of the fresh olives to obtain the freshest, purest oil possible. Above all, all is done while upholding care for the environment and preservation of the landscape. While you may be familiar with the Picual olive, known for the full-bodied zippy oil it produces, you may be less familiar with oil pressed from Hojiblanca olives, a cultivar originating in Spain. La Cultivada's Hojiblanca organic extra virgin oil starts out sweet and delicate with a bright vivacious fruitiness reminiscent of green apple and artichoke. Quintassencia is La Cultivada's award-winning blend of Hojiblanca, Picual, and Arbequina olives, and is well-balanced with a medium spiciness, perfect for using as a dipping oil or for drizzling over fresh tomatoes and mozzarella.

Foraged & Found

Nowhere in the world is premium superfood more abundant than in the wilds of Southeast Alaska. Surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains and crystal waterfalls, at the perfect intersection of land and salty sea, nature deposits her entire arsenal of life-giving vitamins and minerals - as well as tender, delectable sea kelp, flavorful, nutritious sea asparagus, and more. Founded by Jenn Brown and Chelsea Goucher, two women with experience and passion for culinary exploration and environmental preservation, Foraged & Found products are sourced in Alaska, and gathered sustainably by hand so as not to disrupt the natural ecosystems in which these incredible ingredients grow. Imagine pickles with all the zesty crunchiness of a traditional cucumber pickle, but made from wild-harvested Alaskan bull kelp! Not only is Alaskan bull kelp incredibly dense in nutrients, it is also one of the most earth-friendly ingredients we know of. It requires no arable land or fresh water to grow, using fewer resources to grow than other crops, and has also been found to absorb carbon from the sea, reversing the effects of acidification due to climate change. Supporting sustainable foods has never tasted so delicious!

Cult Crackers

Our story begins with Birgitta's homemade Swedish crackers. Her amazing crackers were such a huge hit with friends and family that Birgitta asked Dianna, a professionally trained baker, to help her start a cracker company making and selling Swedish crackers with a healthy California twist. Small-batch baked in Berkeley and inspired by traditional seed crackers from Sweden, Cult Crackers are our new obsession! Starring six powerhouse seeds, these crackers are packed with delicious umami flavor and an UNBELIEVABLE crunch - seriously, we have never had so much fun eating crackers before!! Free of sugar, gluten, grains, and nuts, Cult Crackers are vegan and super good for you. Amazing with any of our hummus varieties, these also make an amazing vessel for cheese or a crouton variant when crumbled over soup or salads (that is, if you can keep yourself from eating them straight out of the bag!).
