Aslin Beer Company was founded in 2015 by Andrew Kelley and Kai Leszkowicz. The name ‘Aslin’ comes from the family that connected the two men; they each married a daughter from the Aslin family.

Aslin is dedicated to brewing quality beer (as well as some fun beer!) from sours to ales to DIPAs, all while redefining American beer culture, reeducating our palates, and creating a community for those who love good beer.

Sourced from responsibly managed fisheries and aquaculture farms, these tins are a delicious choice you can feel good about in an age where overfishing has become synonymous with certain varieties of fish. The term "fishwife" dates back to the 16th century, referring originally to the daughters or wives of fisherman who sold at the markets, eventually evolving into an insult for women who were brash, foul-mouthed, and brassy. We aren't afraid to proclaim our love for tinned fish here at Locke Store, and hope we can convert you as well! Brand new to our shelves are two new products made in collaboration with another of our favorite woman-owned companies, Fly By Jing! Fishwife's amazing smoked salmon is now available in Fly By Jing's sweet & spicy zhong sauce or in spicy, savory sichuan chili crisp! 

Back Pocket Provisions 

Richmond-based company Back Pocket Provisions is working to decrease food waste by turning less-than-perfect produce into delicious bloody mary mixes. Back Pocket works with Virginia farmers to collect their ugly but tasty produce, which most conventional markets will not accept. Better for farmers, consumers, and the planet, these mixes taste even better than they sound! Leaning into all the sweet, savory, and spicy flavors fresh summer produce has to offer, each flavor starts with the incomparable brightness of perfectly ripe tomatoes. There is a mix for everyone here, from the classic Bloody Brilliant to the umami-rich Bloody Blue Ridge which features local sorghum, miso, and tamari. Brunch is waiting!
