Chateau Graville-Lacoste Graves 2017

Origin: France
Retail: $22.95 | Sale: $20.65

This somewhat atypical Graves is distinguished by its high percentage of Sémillon, sourced from vineyards in the greatest white wine terroir in all of Bordeaux — the Haut-Barsac. The average age of vines used to make this wine is between 45-48 years old, creating a rich, full, aromatic mid-palate to complement the clean finish. There is no better way to enjoy this crisp, invigorating wine than with a platter of fresh seafood. Raw oysters, fresh shrimp, clams, scallops, crab, langoustines...the more the merrier!

75 Sémillon | 20 Sauvignon Blanc | 5 Muscadelle

This is the flagship of Palacio de Fefiñanes, first produced in 1928. Vivid notes of lime, citrus, crushed rocks, and an almost Riesling-like petrol character all soar from the glass. Medium-bodied, seamless, and incredibly elegant on the palate, it has remarkable purity of fruit and flawless balance.

Alain Jaume Tavel Le Crétacé 2016

Origin: France
Retail: $17.95 | Sale: $16.15

This primarily Grenache beauty offers notes of black cherries, wild strawberries, and hints of minerals. On the palate, it is zingy with great lift, but maintains the elegant style we look for from Tavel. Red currant and cherry flavors cover the palate with hints of aniseed. The perfect level of acidity makes this a great, food-friendly rosé.

Francesco Scala Ciro Rosso 2016

Origin: Italy
Retail: $18.95 | Sale $17.05

In the Scala family since 1949, the domaine is now run by Luigi Scala, who leads the production of Cirò wines following family traditions. Scala’s vineyards are planted almost entirely to native varieties, including Greco, Maglioppo, Gaglioppo, Nerello, and Mantonico. All the vineyards, which are located on the hinterland plains and hills, are farmed organically, and the winery has been certified organic starting with the 2016 vintage. This red is made 100% from the region’s star grape, Gaglioppo, from 20-year-old vines. Aromas of red fruits and spice complement undertones of cranberries, wild berries, and plums. The palate is well-balanced and harmonious with moderate tannins which make this a perfect food wine.
