Château Suau Bordeaux Blanc 2019

Château Suau is a remarkable vineyard whose origin dates back to the 16th century and were one of the first estates in Bordeaux to start its organic certification. This wine offers ample citrus, lime, and pear notes to go with good minerality, medium body, bright acidity, and terrific overall balance. It’s a steal at the price and a terrific white to drink over the coming couple of years.

Castell D'Age Anne Marie Cava Brut Rose NV

Located in the Alt Penedès, under the south side of Montserrat, in the village of Beguda Baixa. The Castell d`Age winery has been practising organic farming for over 20 years. The Junyent family takes great care making wine according to tradition in a sustainable way. This Cava is a rarity among the grapes grown in the Alt Penedes. A deep pink color gives way to notes of fresh strawberries and raspberries with lots of long-lasting bubbles and a chalky minerality. Its aging on its fine lees for almost two years adds additional complexity and mouthfeel.

In the Apulian plain, in the center of the Salento peninsula, between the Ionian and the Adriatic sea, extends the territory of Copertino. On this red soil, vineyards and olive trees harmoniously alternate: century-old twisted trunks of olive trees often introduces the characteristic Apulian shrub-vines that produces this strong and generous wine. The result is generous, nicely focused aromas and flavors of red fruit, tar, licorice and underbrush. This wine has a marvelous acid-fruit-tannin balance and finishes long, smooth and breezy. A knockout wine and an exceptional buy for the money.

Young Tawny Ports are fun this time of year because they are lighter and more delicate than Ruby Ports. Warre's Kings Tawny is an excellent example of a light and elegant wine, which can be chilled as an aperitif. In the glass it greats you with a beautiful amber color and a slightly nutty character on the nose, Flavors of cocoa powder, plum tart, and dark coffee smooth out on the palate. It drinks pure and fresh with a luscious, long finish.
