Domaine Louis Moreau Petit Chablis 2018

Origin: France
Retail: $24.95 | Sale: $22.45

Domaine Louis Moreau is a 50-hectare estate based in the heart of the Chablis appellation. Louis and his wife Anne founded the domain in 1994. This beautiful Chablis achieves its highly distinctive mineral character due to its cool northerly climate and its highly calcareous soil. It’s fresh and aromatic, with notes of apple and citrus on the nose with bright acidity and a roundness on the palate.

Charles Bove Touraine Brut Rose NV

Origin: France
Retail: $19.95 | Sale: $17.95

This cuvée is made according to the Méthode Traditionnelle process. The bubbles are very fine, abundant and long-lasting in the flute. Its bouquet is very fruity with scents of cherries, fresh-baked bread, chalky soil tones, dried rose petals, and a touch of spice. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied, focused, and shows fine mid-palate depth. It has bracing acids of youth, frothy mousse and very good length, with grip on the complex finish. Perfect as an aperitif, yet it is a surprisingly versatile wine that can complement many lighter style dishes such as Asian cuisine or poultry.

La Gerla Sangiovese Poggio gli Angeli 2016

Origin: Italy
Retail: $18.95 | Sale: $17.05

Fattoria La Gerla was founded in 1976 by the late Sergio Rossi. The estate only farms Sangiovese and is the only family owned property in Montalcino working with the original Biondi Santi (BBS)clones. The vines used top make this wine are 15 years old, so they prefer to make a younger, fresher wine from them. The nose shows beautiful wild berries and hints of herbs. The palate has that beautiful Sangiovese acidity and a fruity medium-length finish with silky smooth cherry flavors. A perfect match for Tuscan meat ragu and pasta.

Retail: $17.95 | Sale: $16.15

Chateau de Saint Cosme is the leading estate of Gigondas and produces the appellation’s benchmark wines. Wine has been produced on the site of Saint Cosme since Roman times, evident by the ancient Gallo-Roman vats carved into the limestone below the chateau. This pure syrah is sourced from the Gard (on the right bank of the Rhône) and Vinsobres (left bank). Violets, black olives, cassis, and blueberry flavors provide terrific varietal expression in a medium to full-bodied package framed by silky tannins.
