Issac Fernandez Biutiful Cava Brut Nature NV

Origin: Spain
Retail: $13.95 | Sale: $12.05

This elegant and easy drinking Cava is produced from grapes sourced from the Western portion of Requena. It could be labeled as a Reserva due to fact that it spends 15 months on lees, as opposed to the minimum of 9 months. It is a true Brut Nature, meaning no sugar was added at the end of aging on lees. The nose delivers dry apple and pear aromas, while the palate is fairly full and round, with apple and lime flavors. This brut Cava is easily drinkable, food-friendly, and very affordable. This is the perfect crowd pleasing sparkling, so don’t hesitate to grab another bottle while you’re at it.

Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis Sainte Claire 2019

Origin: France
Retail: $26.95 | Sale: $24.25

Named after the church next to the winery, fruit for this wine comes from 30-year old vines with a south facing exposure in the village of Préhy. The soils are chalky, with alternate layers of limestone and marl containing fossilized marine bodies, giving this Chablis its fresh and vibrant minerality. Notes of lemon and green apple welcome you into the glass. On the palate the wine is soft, with ripe fruits cut by citrus, spice, and vanilla. Matured entirely in stainless steel, this is a perfect crisp white.

Petit Verdot is well-suited for the Virginia climate and soil. Barrel aging in 40% new French oak for eighteen months relaxes some of this varietal's heavy tannins and allows its complexity to shine. INNA Shrubs

Origin: California
Retail: $18.95 | Sale: $17.05

Bay Laurel: Tastes like a springtime hike in the sunny California hills! This shrub is made from fresh bay laurel so it is bright and verdant and it will blow you away with its super herbaceousness. For cocktails, our bay LAUREL shrub pairs well with gin.

Santa Rosa Plum: This shrub is tart and delicious and features that classic santa rosa fruit-punch-plumminess with notes of cherry, spice, and amaretto. Pairs beautifully with gin. The santa rosa plum was bred by Luther Burbank in the early 1900s. He introduced this cross between a wild American plum, Japanese plum, and the apricot plum in 1907 as part of his pursuit to breed the “ideal plum.”

Marsh Ruby Grapefruit: Not too sweet, intensely grapefruity, with a touch of bitterness and bright tartness. The grapefruit peels are infused in the syrup for 6 weeks, so the resulting flavor is complex and rich and ultra-grapefruity. Add a splash of grapefruit shrub to a white (or rosé) wine to transform it into an grapefruit aperitif wine reminiscent of vin de pamplemousse. Or, keep it low ABV and simply serve the wine+shrub over ice, or for a more traditional fortified wine potency, add a splash of vodka to the glass as well.

Ginger: This potent shrub mixed with soda makes a great substitute for ginger ale. Use it in place of ginger ale in cocktails (moscow mule! dark & stormy!), pairs wonderfully with the bearss lime shrub and meyer lemon shrub.Try it with hot water for a soothing and warming cold-weather drink!

Bearss Lime: INNA uses the whole fruit - juice, pith, and insanely ultra floral zest - of bearss limes to make this shrub. What results is their most intensely flavorful citrus shrub with the highest content of delicious citrus essential oils (definitely give this shrub a shake before using). You can use this shrub in place of Roses' Lime Juice in classic cocktail recipe.

Organic.
