Leitz Eins Zwei Zero Chardonnay

Origin:
Rheingau, Germany
Retail:
$19.95 | Sale: $17.96

Known for being one of the finest wine producers in the country, Weinguit Eins Leitz has made it his life’s work to bring the magic of Germany’s vineyards to the rest of the world. The Eins Zwei Zero Chardonnay hails from the Pfalz region of Germany, where a relatively warm, dry climate makes for rich, full-bodied wines. The EINS-ZWEI-ZERO family offers non-alcoholic products with the same flavor and complexity as traditional wine. The products are also low in fat, low in sugar, and contain roughly one third of the calories traditional wine with alcohol contains. By removing the alcohol, they also remove the metabolism-slowing down and dehydrating effects associated with it. For this wine, chardonnay grapes are grown, harvested, and fermented before undergoing delicate vacuum distillation to remove alcohol and preserve classic wine-like characteristics. This crisp wine shows up with a pure Chardonnay scent of fresh star fruit and citrus; accompanied with slight hints of green peppers. 100% Dealcoholized Chardonnay

The grapes are grown in Rheinhessen, Germany, and dealcoholized by vacuum rectification. On the nose, notes of fresh hay and fine baked apple, hints of kumquat and rose. Tolosa No Oak Chardonnay 2021

Origin: Central Coast, California
Retail:
$19.95 | Sale: $17.96

Cowboy dreams of owning a cattle ranch brought Vintner Robin Baggett to Edna Valley. The cold Pacific wind that sweeps down the coast into the transverse valley and a myriad of soils derived from an ancient seabed made him realize he was on a frontier of a different sort. Tolosa is the expression of his commitment to spare no effort to craft nuanced and balanced Pinot Noir and Chardonnay of distinctive character to rival any in the world. The wine was aged a total of five months in stainless steel and did not go through malolactic fermentation thus highlighting the exceptional fresh fruit character of the wine. The fragrant notes of pear, ripe golden apple, and lemon bar. Textural and creamy mouthfeel combined with notes of lemon custard, asian pear and crunchy peach that are followed by a bright, balanced acidity. 100% Chardonnay

Charles Bove Touraine Sparkling Rosé

Origin: Loire Valley, France
Retail:
$23.95 | Sale: $21.56

The firm of Charles Bove began life in the 19th century in Montrichard, in the Loire Valley. Its base of operations was, and is, an enormous rock quarry, abandoned after it had been quarried for building the Loire Chateaux (Chenonceau is just minutes away). This old quarry is composed of over 9 miles of underground cellars on three levels, with an all but steady temperature year-round of 53 degrees Fahrenheit. The humidity inside is ideal for making and storing wines, and these days the firm keeps an average of two million bottles of sparkling wine undergoing aging at any given time. The company specializes in sparkling wines, buying grape must or juice direct from surrounding domains. This must is then vinified, blended, and bottled at Bove. Fresh, dry, and very pleasing with lovely, broad red fruit and a soft mousse. 70% Cabernet Franc, 30% Gamay
