OnePio Bardolino Chiaretto Spumante 2017

Origin: Italy
Retail: $19.95 | Sale: $17.95

The Winery name comes from the term "1 piò", a measurement used by local farmers in Brescia Province in Northern Italy to indicate the dimension of 1/3 of a hectare, which is the exact dimension of the winery. From this concept the Onepiò Winery was born in 2016. The nose is redolent of crushed red berries with the zest of mandarin. It’s light on the palate with ripe red fruit flavors, a creamy texture, and good balancing acidity.

Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara

La Fortezza Greco Sannio 2017

Origin: Italy
Retail: $19.95 | Sale $17.95

La Fortezza is located in the heart of Sannio Benevento and spreads over a total of 20 hectares of vines on the eastern side of the Regional Park of Taburno-Camposauro where there the slopes are a continuous alternation of vineyards, woods and small fields. The winery is born from the great passion of the founder Enzo Rillo for this land. White spring flower, ripe orchard fruit and Mediterranean brush aromas lead the nose on this fresh Greco. The vibrant palate doles out ripe peach, green apple and juicy citrus alongside crisp acidity. Long, very clean finish with some mineral character.

Trione Sauvignon Blanc River Ranch 2018

Origin: California
Retail: $22.95 | Sale: $20.65

The Trione family has farmed in Sonoma County for three generations. In 2005 they established Trione Winery, designed specifically for crafting small lots of wine from their estate grapes grown in the Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast appellations. River Road Ranch is a jewel in the Russian River Valley Appellation. It is 115 acres in the rolling hills of the valley at a location where the river makes a westerly turn towards the Pacific Ocean. Their well-drained soils are perfect for growing world class Sauvignon Blanc and this wine is the perfect example. White peaches, nectarines and mandarin zest are the first hints on the nose. The acidity and fruit expression on the palate are in perfect balance. This wine is mouth-watering and leaves one craving fresh oysters, sourdough baguettes, or aged gouda.
