Umani Ronchi Terre di Chieti Vellodoro Pecorino 2018

Origin: Italy
Retail: $19.95 | Sale: $17.95

Umani Ronchi began a project working with the pecorino grape that was almost extinct in 2005, releasing their first vintage in 2007. The pecorino grape is only a small percentage, about 5 acres, of Umani Ronchi’s total production. This wine represents the new Umani Ronchi front in its discovery and exploration of Adriatic native varieties, as well as a strengthening of their position in the Abruzzi region. Beautiful floral and citrus notes welcome you into the glass. The palate shows a good amount of structure and a pleasant freshness, with ripe fruit, and clear minerality.
