Inazio Urruzola Txakolina 2019

Origin: Spain
Retail: $21.95 | Sale: $19.75

In the heart of Basque Country, the area that sits atop of Spain along the northern Atlantic Coast and is known for it’s wild lands, own language and culinary awards, is also home to premiere vineyards. Inazio Urruzola is a family-owned 14th century estate in the coastal mountain town of Alkiza. The proximity of the Cantabrian sea and the Atlantic climate make this wine so distinctive. Intense aromas of citrus and white flowers, ripe tropical fruit on the base gives complexity and character. Round and mineral mouth with a crispy balanced acidity with low alcohol, makes a vibrant and unique Txakolina.

De Wetshof Chardonnay
Bon Vallon 2020

Origin: South Africa
Retail: $21.95 | Sale: $19.75

The De Wet family were one of the earliest settlers arriving in the Cape in 1694. As the first registered wine estate in the Robertson Wine Valley, De Wetshof has become known internationally as South Africa’s eminent Chardonnay House due to the pioneering role it played in introducing this noble grape to South Africa. The chilly southern ocean breezes are funneled up the valley and give cooling respite to the vines throughout the growing season. Quite high concentrations of lime are found in the soil and this makes the area exceptionally fine for white grape varieties. The Bon Vallon is unoaked, with brisk and clean freshness leading into a wide spectrum of classic flavors including citrus, wild flowers. It finishes with notes of grilled nuts and nuanced minerality.

The Charles Bove company was founded in the 19th century in Montrichard, in the Loire Valley. This cuvée is made according to the Méthode Traditionnelle process. Chateau Musar Hochar Pere et Fils 2017

Origin: Lebanon
Retail: $35.95 | Sale: $32.35

The legendary Chateau Musar was founded in 1930 by the late Gaston Hochar and is located in an 18th Century castle in Ghazir, just fifteen miles north of Beirut, in Lebanon. The location, in the heart of a region that for many years was ravaged by civil war, placed demands on the Hochar family that most winemakers, fortunately, do not experience. The vineyards, which lie 30 miles east of Ghazir in the Bekaa Valley, were remarkably close to the frontline. Four years in the making, Hochar Père et Fils Red is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon, from a single vineyard. Complex nose of red cherries, sweet smoke, and cinnamon spice. Cherry notes, subtle earthy character on the rich, concentrated palate-it is allat once fruity, fresh, and elegant.
