Badenhorst Secateurs Chenin Blanc 2019

Origin: South Africa

Secateurs refers to a small pair of shears used for pruning. At Badenhorst, secateurs are used pruning the large bushvines, traditional of the region, as well as to pick juicy ripe grapes in the summer. With a minimalist approach to wine making, Adi Badenhorst ferments the grape clusters whole using native yeasts and neutral casks. The aromas are flinty with honey, orange blossom and white stone fruit notes. The 2019 vintage was characterized by a long ripening period in mild conditions and has the effect of good ripe flavors and fresher acidity than in previous years.

Alexandre Monmousseau Clos Le Vigneau Vouvray 2018

Chateau Gaudrelle is owned by fifth generation winemaker Alexandre Monmousseau. Clos Le Vigneau is a single vineyard from an area known as "les Gués d'Amant" or "Lover's Gap". Most of the vines were planted in 1929. This gorgeous Vouvray is made in an off dry style with honey, apricot, and ginger on the nose. Its crisp yet medium bodied which makes it an ideal pairing with seafood, poultry and salads.

Argot Simpatico Ranch Chardonnay 2018

Simpatico Ranch was planted in 1974. Shallow volcanic soils on the gently-sloped, south-facing foothills of Bennett Peak on Bennett Valley’s floor. One of (if not the) coolest Chardonnay vineyards in Sonoma County. Beautiful notes of ripe orchard fruits, toasted brioche, hazelnuts, and floral nuances welcome you into theglass. The palate is richly textured with layers, integrated acidity, and a balanced finish of minerality and distinct flintiness.

Domaine de Nizas Le Clos Rose 2020

Origin: France

Located near the medieval village of Pézenas in the heart of the Languedoc region, Domaine de Nizas was created in 1998, by John Goelet, an American descendant of a family of Bordeaux wine merchants. This Languedoc rosé reveals a nose of redcurrant and morello cherry. It's lively and beautiful with crunchy fruit balanced by roundness and finesse making it the perfect porch sipper on a warm day.

Les Équilibristes Perigord Rouge Hirsute 2018

“Les Équilibristes” (the “Tightrope Walkers”) aim to shake up winemakers willing to craft different wines. By freeing them from their habits and practices, they intend to shape together a vibrant and unique wine.

Their set of golden rules are the following: indigenous grape varieties, organic winemaking, tillage, indigenous yeasts, minimal sulphur rates. This Cabernet Franc/Merlot blend is juicy yet chewy. Cherries and dark fruits dominate the nose. palate is dry, medium bodied, with a generous amount of acidity. It's anaffordable drinkable red that can be condumed now but also has the potential to age.

Casanova di Neri Toscana 2016

Origin: Italy
Retail: $23.95 | Sale: $21.55

Founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri who with his great vision and passion understood the huge potential of wine in the Montalcino territory. Coming from a blend of Sangiovese and Colorino which are ajacent to Brunello vineyards. This remains a baby Brunello from younger vines on Neri's property. The nose shows aromas of deep black cherry and a hint of graphite. The palate is present with full black cherry, tar, spice, and a bit of earthy finish.
