Slater Run Vineyards Pétillant Naturel Sparkling Rosé 2024
Origin: Virginia
Retail: $31.95 | Sale: $28.75
Following the Méthode Ancestrale, this "Pet-Nat" was bottled before completion of fermentation, trapping the CO2 produced in the process inside the bottle and creating a light and fizzy natural style sparkling wine. It is a fun, dry, delicious and beloved wine to be enjoyed year-round.
Slater Run Vineyards Nest 2023
Origin: Virginia
Retail: $24.95 | Sale: $22.45
This medium-bodied white wine blends Sauvignon Blanc, Petit Manseng, and Grüner Veltliner with Chardonnay to add interest to the nose, mouthfeel, and overall taste. The three additional varietals add floral aromatics to the nose and contribute flavor concentration to the overall blend. Although the wine has been fermented dry (no residual sugar), a hint of honeydew creates a nice roundness while maintaining a lemon-zest freshness on the palate.
Slater Run Vineyards Rocketfish 2022
Origin: Virginia
Retail: $31.95 | Sale: $28.75
This Viognier Amber (Orange) wine achieves its distinctive color and flavor by fermenting the white grapes on their skins (like a red wine) to incorporate the rich color, taste, and mouthfeel contained in the skins. It is aged for 10 months in French Oak.
Slater Run Vineyards Cabernet Franc 2021
Origin: Virginia
Retail: $29.95 | Sale: $26.95
The Classic Cabernet Franc was the first red wine released in 2014, while the red blends aged in French oak over the winter. The light style of the single varietal Cabernet Franc was intentional and has become part of the regular line-up each year. Fermentation temperatures are kept low to extract the softer tannins and colors from the skins.
Slater Run Vineyards The Pit Jumper 2021
Origin: Virginia
Retail: $43.95 | Sale: $39.55
This wine is dedicated to the “pit jumpers” of the world. For Slater Run Vineyards’ owners Kiernan and Chris, it is all about the “jump” or “leap of faith” to come back to Virginia in 2011, live on the family farm with their two children and start, with Kiernan’s parents Alice and Bob, the vineyard and winery there. This popular full-bodied red blend is majority Petit Verdot.
