Pays d’Oc, France
Retail:

Located in the foothills of the Cévenne mountains, Mas des Cabres makes unique wines that reflect their specific limestone and red clay terroir, located where the Languedoc comes together with the Rhône Valley. Their philosophy is to minimize intervention from the vines to the cellar, so as to let the wines express their true nature. The name Mas des Cabres comes from the name of the central lieu-dit where the vineyards are situated. Cabres is the Occitan word for the goats that were bred in this area in the 18th century. The domain has been farming organically since 2019. The nose reveals notes of pineapple, lemon and pear. The well-balanced palate is mineral rich and retains much freshness. 30% Viognier, 30% Vermentino, 30% Roussanne, 10% Muscat Petits Grains
