Domaine Jean-Luc Mouillard Crémant du Jura Brut NV

Origin: France
Retail: $35.95 | Sale: $32.95

For three decades, Domaine Mouillard has been a benchmark in Jura winemaking, crafting terroir-driven wines from its 16th-century cellars since 1991. Their Crémant du Jura, made entirely from Chardonnay, undergoes bottle fermentation, full malolactic fermentation, and a minimum of twelve months aging on its lees. The current release offers aromas of pear, apple, chalky minerality, and fresh-baked bread, leading to a young, bright, full-bodied palate with definitive acidity and a mineral finish.

Lubanzi Chenin Blanc 2024

Origin: South Africa
Retail: $18.95 | Sale: $17.00

The winery, named after "Lubanzi," a wandering dog who led its founders on a 100-mile, six-day hike across South Africa's Wild Coast, produces this exceptional white wine. This 100% handpicked Chenin Blanc is sourced from diverse soils within South Africa's renowned Swartland region. A late but rapid ripening period at the end of the year resulted in wines with a softer, rounder mouthfeel and an emphasis on minerality over fruit. On the nose, bright lemon peel notes are balanced by savory and creamy undertones of herbs, straw, and lemon yogurt.

Nicolas Maillet Mâcon-Igé Blanc 2021

Origin: France
Retail:
$40.95 | Sale: $36.85

Nicolas Maillet, a fourth-generation winegrower, practices his trade with minimal fanfare in the tiny village of Verzé, northwest of Mâcon. He has farmed organically since 2010 (Ecocert certified) and began implementing biodynamic practices in 2013. The Verzé vineyards, characterized by chalky, limestone-centric, and generally eastern-facing slopes, produce some of the most mineral-driven, high-acid wines in the region. This is due to the combination of their exposition, mineral soils, and surrounding microclimate. The wines offer fresh aromatics of round melon and green apple, with a beautifully integrated, silky, and mineral palate. We highly recommend pairing this wine with goat cheese!

Depardon Domaine de la Bêche Morgon 2022

Origin: France
Retail: $29.95 | Sale: $26.95

Domaine de la Bêche, established in 1848 amidst the Beaujolais hills, has a rich history. Olivier Depardon, the 7th-generation family member, took control in 1985, expanding the initial 4 acres of vines to 69 acres over the years. This Domaine stands out in the appellation, partly due to its vines spanning all six of Morgon's climats. Py (Côte du Py), is a striking, collapsed volcano cone that dominates the landscape. Its soil, primarily schist with granite and blue-stoned andesite, contributes to the wine's unique character. The aromatics are captivating and vibrant, offering floral notes and a hint of raspberry. On the palate, redcurrant and elegant mineral undertones provide structure and a silky, elegant finish.
