Lundeen Brut NV

Michael Lundeen, a third-generation Oregonian, found his calling to make fine wine in the Willamette Valley after returning to his family’s Yamhill County farm. Michael directs the farming of nearly 40 acres utilizing no-till and organic practices and maintains the “LIVE” sustainability certification (Low Input Viticulture and Enology), one of the world's most robust programs. Because viticulture is growing so rapidly in Oregon, it’s actually a bit rare to find a winemaker that’s from the region. This brut sparkling wine is the flagship bottle of bubbles for Lundeen. The base of Pinot Noir gives it a more forward character with more redolent fruit and floral notes. It also benefits from a base wine blend of multiple vintages to capture the best of the valley, regardless of vintage variation.

Beginning as a cattle farm in 1985, Domaine St. Laurent planted their first vines in 2017 with 14 acres of Pinot Noir Pommard clones and then added 11 more acres of pinot noir in 2019. Their first vintage was created in 2019. The Rogue Valley is a sun-drenched, fertile playground for outdoor adventures, fine dining, world-renowned theater and music, and more. Comprising three distinct valleys with progressively warmer micro-climates, the region successfully grows both cool- and warm-climate varieties so you can enjoy Rogue Valley wine with everything.

Now, the third generation of the family is involved in the family business, with Alex and his wife Heidi taking over management of grape production and wine sales.

Limited Edition Wines is not a vineyard or winery, but a project working with nearly a dozen vineyards and twenty different grape varieties to craft low-intervention cool-climate wines of distinction and character in the Willamette Valley. In 2015, the owner, Bree Stock, met enologist Chad Stock, the founder of Minimus wines. Their shared visions for diversity inspired growers who recognized the need for building greater resilience in their vineyards through increasing varietal diversity for a more sustainable and interesting wine industry. Piquette is a low-alcohol wine made from the second pressings of grape pomace (the dense clumps of grape skins, seeds, stems and pulp that remain after juice has been pressed for wine), known to have been enjoyed by French farmhands and vineyard workers.
