This blend is surprising for Italy- 80% Viognier and 20% Malvasia del Lazio. The nose is herbal and nutty, earthy in a mineral way and laced with light vanilla aromatics. The palate is round with gentle fruit. Minerality hits right in the mid-palate as opposed to the finish but leans back toward fruit. The minerality builds and the flavor takes on orange and vanilla in the finish. I loved this wine so much that I texted the importer about it. Pair this with white fish, goat cheese, and pasta dishes with ricotta.

Campo Vecchio Rosso is a seductive red wine that combines the best of two worlds: 50% Shiraz and 50% Cesanese. This exquisite composition creates a wine with a deep, ruby red color and a complex bouquet of ripe berries, spicy pepper and delicate herbal notes. On the palate, the wine unfolds with a harmonious balance between Shiraz's full fruitiness and Cesanese's finesse and elegance. Notes of blackcurrant, cherry and hints of licorice intertwine with subtle notes of vanilla and smoke before the wine culminates in a long, silky finish.

A red blend crafted from a mix of indigenous and international grape varieties (Shiraz/Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot). The wine undergoes fermentation in stainless steel to preserve its fruit purity, followed by aging in French oak barrels to enhance its structure and complexity. This results in a full-bodied wine with a harmonious balance of fruit and oak, suitable for immediate enjoyment or short-term cellaring.
