Les Bêtes Curieuses Muscadet Sur Granit 2018

Crafted by two young Loire vignerons who call themselves “Les Bêtes Curieuses,” this wine highlights the diverse terroir of Muscadet via old vines, organic farming, and minimal-intervention winemaking. The nose is intense with citrus and lemon aromas. The palate is crisp and fresh with wet-stone minerality making it an excellent pairing with oysters on the half shell or any delicate white fish.

Lievland Vineyards Chenin Blanc 2017

Lievland lies on the western slopes of the Simonsberg mountains between Stellenbosch and Paarl, two of the most prominent wine-growing areas in the Cape. With notes of white peach, citrus and pineapple, the palate has a rich and ripe mouthfeel balanced with vibrant acidity and a lingering, zesty finish.

Created in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son Christophe, Domaine de la Mordorée is located in Tavel of the southern Rhône valley. This direct pressed rosé is crisp and fresh with hints of cranberry and pomegranate on the nose. More mineral like in character, possessing a Tavel-like color as well as level of richness. It’s beautifully balanced, has beautiful acidity, and a clean, lengthy finish. It’s a beautiful, rich, dry rosé that’s going to shine on the dinner table.

Lievland Vineyards Pinotage 2017

Lievland’s history dates back to 1715, when the original farm was granted to the ex-soldier Jurie Hanekom. Lievland lies on the western slopes of the Simonsberg mountains between Stellenbosch and Paarl, two of the most prominent wine-growing areas in the Cape. Made in an elegant and traditional style, this Pinotage shows vibrant fruity notes of fresh cherry and raspberry, with a hint of vanilla given by the oak aging. The palate exhibits savory tannins with ample fruit and a lingering finish. A small addition of Cinsault enhances the aromas and adds to the elegance of this delicate Pinotage.

Boxwood Winery Topiary 2016

Boxwood Estate Winery in the Middleburg is 26.5 acres on a historic landmark farm, and are planted with traditional Bordeaux varietals. A delicate floral nose of violet and lilac lingers through to the palate, blooming into plush dark flavors of blueberry, blackberry and plum. A strong fruit character leads into woody tannin and subtle hints of graphite, challenging the norms of Merlot- based Bordeaux blends with its lively fruitiness and a lengthy and full-bodied finish.

The Thorn family have grown vines in the Barossa since the 1870’s and still proudly own and manage some of the oldest vineyards in the region. This is a rich yet balanced wine with aromas of blackcurrant and mulberries accompanied by notes of smokey oak and hints of cloves. The palate is filled with dark fruits and backed by taut tannins and lingering oak.
