From their Meridian Ridge vineyard in Bluemont, this Bordeaux-style red blend (62% Merlot, 31% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7% Petit Verdot) embodies both strength and elegance. Meridian Ridge Vineyard is a 5-acre vineyard nestled along the Blue Ridge Mountains in Bluemont, Virginia. A geologist was consulted to help identify the best soils in Loudoun County. It was planted in 2017 with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Tannat. Our red fruit begins with a 3 day cold soak, followed by a natural primary fermentation and extended maceration.
