Pepiere Muscadet Sevre et Maine ‘Le Pépie’ 2021

Origin:
Loire, France
Retail:
$19.95 | Sale: $17.95

Classic Muscadet on granite. The heart of the Pépière estate, encompassing 10 hectares, lies within the Clisson cru in the tiny commune of Pépière, adjacent to the winery. The wines also incorporate a significant proportion of their cru Château Thébaud fruit, along with some sourced from an organic farmer friend nearby. The vineyard practices are certified organic, and the meticulous harvesting is performed entirely by hand. As for Pépière wines, the clusters undergo direct pressing, followed by a 12-hour settling period for the juice. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks using natural yeasts, and the wine is aged on its lees in spacious underground cement tanks lined with glass. The addition of sulfites is kept to a minimum. The wine spends approximately 8 months maturing on the lees before being bottled. 100% Melon de Bourgogne

Barter and Trade Sauvignon Blanc Volume 6

Origin:
Columbia Valley, Washington
Retail:
$18.95 | Sale: $17.06

Barter & Trade wine grapes are grown under the Shadows of the Cascade Mountains and in the humble Ancient Lakes of Columbia Valley in Eastern Washington. Though this prime land bears exceptionally choice wine grapes, bursting with body and flavor, and a structure that sets them apart from California wines, this region is yet to receive the acclaim enjoyed by other well-known wine regions.

Paso Robles winemaker Andrew Jones felt called to work with this soil. Determined to bring the bounty of Washington across the country, Jones struck up a deal with local winegrowers. After being carefully harvested from the Washington vineyards, the grapes embark on a southward journey to Paso Robles, California, where they are cellared, blended, and bottled. Revealing notes of meyer lemon and wet stone, followed by the enticing aroma of Asian pear-scented limeade, culminating in a clean and lingering finish that leaves you yearning for the next sip. 100% Sauvignon Blanc

Domaine Pillot Bourgogne Rouge 2021

Origin:
Burgundy, France
Retail:

The Pillot family started working in the vineyards of the Côte Chalonnaise over 150 years ago. Today, father and son are at the helm. Domaine Pillot produces a range of very accessible, high quality Chardonnays and Pinot Noir from the great value Côte Chalonnaise area in the heart of Burgundy. Under the brilliant ruby appearance, this selection of red Burgundy parcels reveals intense notes of small red fruits topped with a typical touch of licorice. The fruit explodes in a voracious mouth, unveiling its tannins with elegance, creating a delightful sensation on the palate. It pairs exceptionally well with grilled pork ribs and a red fruit tart, tempting to be savored. 100% Pinot Noir

Dusky Goose Dundee Hills Pinot Noir 2016

Origin: Willamette, OR
Retail:
$69.95 | Sale: $62.96

Dusky Goose was founded in 2002 in the Dundee Hills, Oregon’s premier winegrowing region, by native Oregonians John and Linda Carter. They have been producing Dundee Hills Pinot Noir since the beginning. This wine is sourced from Estate Rambouillet Vineyard and the neighboring Lillie's Vineyard, showcasing the true essence of the home terroir. Choosing the Dundee Hills as the place to excel in crafting world-class wines from the Willamette Valley ignited the mission of Dusky Goose. The winter of 2016 was warm, with an early budbreak, and the subsequent bloom, veraison, and harvest set new early records. The harvest began in August and was finished before October. The fruit achieved full ripeness, with moderate alcohol levels and overall good acidity. This Pinot welcomes you with notes of cranberry, dusty wild raspberry, rose petal, violet & hints of vanilla bean. Silky, fine tannins land mid-palate and the long finish is perfumed by currant, forest floor, clove, sweet cherries, and hints of pepper. 100% Pinot Noir
